Vintage Vegas: Photos of Hotels on the Las Vegas Strip.

By Posted in - Photography Posts & Travel Blog & U.S.A. on May 8th, 2010

Sin City as you’ve never seen it!

A month or so ago we spent a few days in Las Vegas with Randy’s family. We had a great time and I took a ton of photos of hotels on the Las Vegas Strip. I wanted to capture something a little different than the typical photos of Las Vegas hotels and I discovered a new technique that fit perfectly with the vibe I was trying to get. Here are some pictures from the trip that I absolutely love! If you’ve been to Vegas some of the places might look familiar to you. I hope you like them as much as I do – Enjoy!

The technique was very simple. An old lens filter I found that I had to hand hold over the camera – that’s why it looks a little different every time. If I see something old, cheap at a camera store or somewhere else that looks like it could work I grab it. 🙂

Glad you like the last one Candice! I love that one too but almost didn’t put it in because it doesn’t entirely match so I’m glad you dig it!
