Pin-Up Live is Back! And we couldn’t be more excited. We’ve been having a great summer, but we are ready to get back to some Wednesday night Pinterest chat! How about you?
To kick the new season of Pin-Up Live off, we’re going to be chatting about one of our favorite subjects: Travel Photography.
Join us this Wednesday (7/24) at 7 p.m. (EST) on the Pin-Up Live board to have a real time chat about travel photography with F-Stop Gear, who, if you don’t know, make some of the best adventure photography bags in the world. We use their packs and love them! And we’ll be giving away two of their bags to two PUL participants following the chat. Yep, two lucky participants will walk away with a gift this week! Just be warned, though, there’s going to be a lot of Pinspiration going on!
How Do I Join In?
It’s simple to participate, just head on over to our Pinterest board, Pin-Up Live, which is dedicated to the event. We will be pinning inspirational travel pins to the board, each one containing a question related to travel photography. All you have to do is join in on the conversation!
We will pin seven of the question pins every few minutes and if you read or see something you like, we’d love to hear from you in the comment section of the pin. This is a way for all of us to share our travel stories in a visual way. During the chat we’ll be checking out your boards and repinning some of your items to the board as well. The theme for this week’s chat is going to be Travel Photography! F-Stop will be joining us live on Pinterest, so you can ask them any questions you might have through the comments on the pins. Feel free to chat away. We want to hear your questions, tips and travel tales!
Important: Pinterest does not use hashtags (#) in a real time way as of now so in order to follow the conversation, you’ll have to be on the Pin Up Live board at the dedicated time (Wed 07/24/13 at 7pm EST) to participate. You will also need to refresh that page every couple of minutes to see the updates. Remember to refresh!
How do I snag an F-Stop Bag?
Simply, join in the discussion! At the end of the chat we compile the names of the people that chatted – so just by joining in the fun you’ll automatically have a chance to get one of these great bags!
Why Pinterest?
Ever since joining Pinterest last year, we’ve been hooked. And a lot of it has to do with the inspired ideas and photos we encounter on a daily basis. There’s a lot of incredible people on Pinterest, but no real good way to have a conversation–until now.
As avid travelers, we love sharing our travel tales and we believe the best tips and advice comes from your connections–family, friends and social networks. Pin Up Live brings the conversation to Pinterest, making it easy for people to connect and share stories, tips and beautiful images, while developing a comprehensive travel resource board that will grow more robust as new topics are discussed in the weeks and months ahead.
This is the first live chat held on Pinterest ever and we plan to bring you different travel themes to stoke your inspiration, so please let us know if you have anything in mind you’d love to chat about.
