Sponsored Video: Events I’d like to see live: Full Metal Jousting.

What do you get when you combine Extreme Sports with history? Full Metal Jousting on the History Channel.
Yes, you heard me right. Jousting as in two knights running full bore at one another on horseback. I’ve seen medieval reenactments before, but I have never seen a live jousting match. In fact, I didn’t even know people still performed this as sport. But leave it to the History Channel to bring the sport from the underground to mainstream.
Outside of the video below, which we were sent as part of a media campaign for the show, I don’t know much about where the competitions will take place or if they will be open to the public. However, I’ve got my fingers crossed that the competitions Full Metal Jousting will have live audiences, because I think this would be blast to see in person. Full Metal Jousting premiers Feb 12. Sundays 10/9c.

How funny! My daughter went to school with one of the knights on that show, Jack Mathis. I meant to see it, but hope to catch the next round of joust!
