It was completely unexpected but a great idea! My 2 sisters & brother in law chipped in on the Lingo Global 29 for my birthday gift. It’s a super light weight pocket translator that has 29 languages stored in it. I was really impressed when I saw the list of languages since it covers a LOT – Arabic, Bulgarian, Chinese, Czeck, Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Slovakian, Spanish, Swedish, Thai, Turkish & Ukrainian. It has over 580k words and also thousands of phrases. It also lets you keep time in over 200 cities and it has 8 currency conversions! It has a ton of other little helpful uses and one of the things that impressed me the most was that it also shows you how to pronounce certain words as well so you don’t sound like a total moron when your trying to ask someone where the bathroom or bus station is. I’m really excited about this since I hadn’t even thought of bringing a translator along but it will be great to have and I’m sure we’ll get a ton of use out it. The best part is that it is soooo lightweight that it will be easy to take along anywhere. Thanks Bridgette, Kate & Mike for such an awesome travel gift!!
