Vernazza, Cinque Terre – Italy – Somewhere In Time Travel Photo.
Somewhere In Time is a weekly travel photo from around the world. Enjoy!
After a long hike in Cinque Terra we turned a corner and saw this amazing view of Vernazza. Cinque Terra seems to get better and better with each step, now that I am gone – I think about it all the time. The buildings are crumbling into the sea slowly. The air is clear and the sun is warm. I miss it.

Love this shot…so cool! How’d you do it? In b/w, then added some sepia and outer blur? Just wondering. It’s a great one!

Thanks Lisa – yup, you got it right – first BW, then sepia then blur and vignette around the edges 🙂@Lisa E @chickybus,

I love this shot! So nice to see such a timeless black and white photo of a place that is usually photographed for it’s colors. Gives a new perspective! This is beautiful!!
Do you sell your photos? If you did you would have LOTS of buyers!! 🙂

Thank you Annie and yes, I do sell them. I just resuscitated my Etsy shop. There’s only a few things up now but I will be adding this one for sure. Thank you so much for the great confidence boost! http://www.etsy.com/shop/NarikosNest@Annie,

GREAT shot. I love Vernazza. Some of my fondest memories are of drinking wine on the cliffs and watching the sun turn the sea to diamonds.
The black-and-whiteness of this gives Cinque Terre back a world before tourists.
