Somewhere in Time is a photo from around the world. Enjoy!

Picture of glass Coke bottles in Reykjavik, Iceland.

Ok, I admit it. I am a sucker for the details. Although most of my photos are more emotionally based I LOVE shooting food and details. One day we were strolling around Reykjavik, one of our favorite places to visit in Iceland, and I spotted this yellow box on the stairs of an antique store. Like a bee to honey I ran right over for further inspection and of course a photo. My favorite thing about this old box is the Drekkid labeling, which I assume means ‘Drink’ in Icelandic. I love, love, love this photo! I also really loved this box. If I had the money and space I would’ve bought it for a really unique souvenir. I miss Iceland and wonder if this box was ever purchased or if it is still sitting lonely on the stone stairs.

I also have a thing for shooting bottles in other countries, I don’t know why it seems so interesting but they tend to be my favourite photos too.

old bottles are great. It’s the way they reflect the light – so pretty. @Ayngelina,

I love “angle” shots. For some reason, I can never visualize them myself, but just love how the look when done properly. Well done.
