I Left My Heart in Badlands National Park, South Dakota..
Badlands National Park in South Dakota is a must see for anyone driving in the area. This place is amazing! I loved it. I wanted to put up some photos from the park so everyone could see what a fantastic place it is. I have been to most of the National Parks in the U.S. and this one really holds a special part of my heart. Something I like about it is that minute you drive in you are smacked in the face with the beauty of the land. Part arid, hot desert land, part grass-blowing prairie land, the magic of this park will capture you quickly and it won’t let go. I loved the hot air whipping my hair around and the sound of the grass blowing in the breeze. Even if you only have a couple hours or you can’t walk around much, it doesn’t matter – you need to visit. Plus there are a ton of Buffalo and little prairie dogs running around. Look at the last picture – aren’t they cute? Almost as cute as Randy in his .67 cent Budweiser hat he bought in Wall, South Dakota.
I took these photos with my trusty Nikon and if you are looking to buy a camera soon you might want to check out Vouchercodes.co.uk. They have discounts and promo codes for money off at Comet, which is an online company that sells cameras and a ton of other great gear.

I was born and raised in Wall, and I don’t think I could ever tire of the Badlands beauty. I consider myself very lucky to have had the Badlands as my backyard. I’m glad you enjoyed yourselves, and you got some extraordinary photos! And.. the bison are my favorite part of the park!

Wow, gorgeous pictures, thanks for sharing! Those rugged canyons and chimneys remind me a little of Cappadocia in Turkey. Love those shots of the bison too.

Great photographs! I’ve always fancied visiting Badlands after seeing a Bear Grylls episode on survival there, looks so dry but so fascinating.

I timed my trip to South Dakota to coincide with the Sturgess motorcycle rally…but didn’t know it at first. Your incredible photos bring back memories;you have captured the starkness of the beautiful landscape. Loved it but wouldn’t want to live there!

When is the season over? Have I missed it this summer, to be able to feel the hot air blowing my hair around? This sounds like heaven.

Beautiful shots! I used to drive through the badlands every summer on my way to Montana and they were always my favorite part of the drive. Your pictures did a great job capturing how pretty it is there.

Hi, I live in France but went to the Badlands. A so beautiful and magic place.
Each time I visit some friends in Rosebud reservation, I go to the Badlands.
Thanks for you pictures!
