You may be interested to hear that average temperatures in the cosmopolitan Indian holiday destination of Goa are between 25 and 30 degrees celsius. What’s more the sun generally keeps it’s hat on for 10 hours a day in this pretty part of the world. It’s no wonder that thousands of travellers hit the well known Goan beaches of Anjuna and Arombol every year. Some even stick around for the infamous full moon parties.

You can expect a party no matter the time of year that you visit the Brazilian carnival city of Rio de Janeiro. You might even book your well earned break during the festive period, when there are numerous parties and fireworks events on the beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema. Alternatively you could join the crowds for the yearly carnival that takes place during February.
