Bound in the north by the River Liffey, Temple Bar is a happening spot in Dublin. The Temple Bar is not only a pub but an entire area that comprises several fun filled, cobblestone blocks. The square is packed of some of the most happening bars & restaurants that Dublin has to offer. It is a very touristy area and is always abuzz with people, street performers and people looking for a good time. If you’re headed to Dublin you owe it to yourself to spend some time in this exciting area of the city.
Photographer’s Tip: Take your time! This is one of those classic shots that could’ve been much better if I had taken just a few minutes to really set it up. If I were to retake it I would’ve moved the Botticelli sign aside, crouched low to the ground and shot a few frames with some of the people walking a bit closer to the camera. Shooting it like that would’ve created a feeling of being part of the motion happening around the square instead of watching it. I still really like this shot because it reminds me of my trip but it could’ve had more impact if I had taken the time instead of rushing by.In other news Randy and I are headed to Vegas on Wednesday with his mom and grandparents in an RV! We are pretty excited to head back to Sin City for some multi generational family fun!

I like the shot, captures the activity of the place. Friday or Saturday night it’s a pretty fun place to go out and just packed with people.
