16 Travel Instagrams from 8 Days in Jordan.
Before traveling to Jordan last month, I had heard a lot of good things about it. Everyone we spoke with who had been talked highly of the food, people, and sweeping beauty of the country. I’m happy to say that Jordan lives up to its reputation that travelers have bestowed it. We traveled from Amman, Jordan’s capital city, to Aqaba on the Red Sea. Along the way we made overnight stops at Petra and Wadi Rum. Then on the way back to Amman, we spent an evening at the Dead Sea, where we took a sunset float. For us, the trip was an instant classic. Everyday brought new highlights, and so many laughs and smiles.
We’ve got a lot of stories to share with you guys, including a post talking about our experiences traveling through Jordan despite the turmoil in the region. (Spoiler Alert: It’s super safe–Jordan is like the Switzerland of the Middle East) To get things rolling, though, we thought we’d showcase our Instagram photos and videos from the trip to give you a snapshot about what we experienced on our epic journey through the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
This campaign was created and sponsored by the Jordan Tourism Board in partnership with iambassador. As always, we retain complete editorial control over what we publish on Beers and Beans.

Jordan is awesome! Petra especially so – just an incredible place to be especially at night when they light it with candles!

Instagram is such a joyous platform, and you use it so wonderfully. Right from the glorious first photo to those magical clouds and the incredible rocks of Petra, this gallery had me enchanted. I live in the UAE, so not at all far from Jordan, but somehow my travels always take me much farther. I think next time it behooves me to go wander through the magical lands so close to me.
