One day we’d love to personally giveaway a new Nikon camera to one of our readers. Beth’s a Nikon user and has been for years, and we’d love to share the gift of photography with others. For now, though, we’re happy to be able spread the word about the “Wish I Was There Photo Competition” from Al Fresco Holidays, which has a grand prize of a Nikon D3200 DSLR or £400 in vouchers towards your next holiday. Additionally, 10 lucky runners-up will receive a print of their submitted picture.

How to Enter:
Al Fresco wants to see your best holiday photos. Here’s what they told me they’re looking for: “Whether it’s funny, remarkable, scenic or simply a picture of fun times at your favorite destination, we’re looking for something original that will make us smile, help us look forward to those first few days of Spring and think “I wish I was there!”‘
There are several ways to show off of our best photo. Whichever you choose, just make sure to include the location of your photo and the reason why you wish you were back there!

•Post your picture on Instagram using the hashtag #AFWishIWasThere

So, if I enter will I lose my rights to my photos?
I know this question comes up a lot for online photo contests, so I looked into the fine print and this is what it says:
“Copyright in all images submitted for this competition remains with the respective entrants. However, in consideration of their providing the Competition, each entrant grants a worldwide, irrevocable, perpetual licence to Al Fresco Holidays to feature any or all of the submitted images in any of their publications, their websites and/or in any promotional material connected to this competition without recompense.”
