We’ve had such an amazing time sharing stories, tips and inspiration with you guys on Pin-Up Live this year. Thank you for being part of it! Beth, Bridgette and I really wanted to go big for our last two chats of 2013, so we reached out to our favorite travel magazine, AFAR, to see if we could put together something special with them and they did not disappoint.
This week we are welcoming an incredible travel company that goes by the name Skype to Pin-Up Live. Yep, you heard me right, SKYPE! Better yet, the chat is going to be all about one of our favorite destinations, Europe, and to make it even more exciting we will be giving away 20 one year subscriptions to Skype premium during the event! That’s right 20 people will get a year long premium Skype subscription during the chat!
Please join us and AFAR this Wednesday (12/4) at 7 p.m. (EST) on the Pin-Up Live board to have a real time chat about traveling in Europe with Skype, who just wrapped up an awesome European adventure campaign called Rerouted: A Skype Travel Challenge with video blogger, Mike Corey. For the travel challenge, Skype dropped Mike off in Istanbul with no instructions or directions about where to go. To reach his destinations across Europe and get home in time for Thanksgiving, he had to solve a set of clues with only the help of his Skype contacts. Sounds like a really fun adventure if you ask me!
You can expect a lot of Pinspiration, tips and stories flying around on Wednesday night and we would love to hear your stories too!
How Do I Join In?
It’s simple to participate in the chat, just head on over to our Pinterest board, Pin-Up Live, which is dedicated to the event. We will be pinning inspirational travel pins to the board, each one containing a question related to Europe. All you have to do is join in on the conversation!
We will pin a question pin every few minutes and if you read or see something you like, we’d love to hear from you in the comment section of the pin. This is a way for all of us to share our travel stories in a visual way. During the chat we’ll be checking out your boards and repinning some of your items to the board as well.
