If I had a million dollars, I’d still look for great deals. Nowadays, because there are so many unique discounts and promotions from large travel brands on the internet, it is important to do a quick online search when planning your trip to see what kind of savings or cool perks you may be able to find.

Honestly, you really just never know what kind of deal you may come across and that is what makes it so much fun. A lot of times the deals are discounts, but sometimes–like I’ll show in one example below–it can be a pretty specific perk. I’ve put together a few fun promotions for Europe and UK travel below to help ease your hop into the spring vacation season.

Cheap Rooms and More

Hotel companies are always trying to fill rooms, and the bigger they are the more customers they need to ensure their brand is profitable. This is always a plus for consumers because large hoteliers are always looking for a good reason to have a sale. Currently, Travelodge has two major sales happening for the spring season. The first is a carry over Easter sale with rooms starting at £43, and the second is a Spring sale where rooms are as low as $28. Additionally, Travelodge also offers a free breakfast buffet for kids (with an adult purchase of one) at any of its hotels with a Bar Cafe.

Psst! Like Deep Hotel Discounts?

Who doesn’t right? Well, from now until the end of 2013, Expedia is offering 40 percent of select hotel rooms with its Secret Savers program. But the fun doesn’t stop there. Expedia, maybe more than any company,  always has some great deals and packages up for grabs. So the next time you want to take a vacation,  be sure to check out what Expedia discount codes are available, and you may just score yourself some nice discounts.

 Hit the Road Jack

I believe the best cure for shaking the wintertime blues is hitting the open road. The only thing better is taking that said drive on a spring vacation in a new rental car with the person you love. Right now, Nova Care Hire is making it easier than ever to get away with your best friend or significant other. Not only do they have some deep discount promotions going on, Nova is also offering renters the chance to add an extra drive for free, allowing you to save some real money on your road trip, since you can forgo hotel stays by taking turns driving.

Do you have any favorite perks or discounts that you look for?
