Sponsored Video: Countdown :60 (or my love affair with Jeep)

If I had won the Powerball jackpot last week, you know that honking $400 million purse that two lucky people won, one of my first purchases would have been a new Jeep.

Yes, that’s right, a Jeep.

I fell in love with Jeep in the late 90s when a friend of mine used to wheel us around in his Jeep Wrangler through the streets and up into the woods. A lot of the trails that we blazed in the Wrangler, I had never thought could be navigated by a four-wheel drive vehicle but that is what makes the Jeep so special.

Unlike, most SUVs (if not all), the Jeep can fit into spaces that are more suited for a Volkswagen Beetle. In fact, I used to joke that the Wrangler’s compact size made it feel more like a four-wheel drive golf cart than a SUV. Better yet, the Jeep is one of the most functional vehicles I’ve ever seen. Want a convertible for the summer? Just take off the top. Feel like taking off your doors? Yep, you guessed it, you can remove those too. Heck, if you really want to, you can even fold down the windshield, just like the original World War II Jeeps.

I guess that’s why Jeep was the vehicle of choice for getting our troops into the front lines during World War II and are still being used today to bring our heroes back home. And while Jeep has evolved over the years (I’m a huge fan of the four door model), it–like our troops–has remained a versatile, well-oiled machine that can handle any type of terrain. As way to salute the men and women currently serving our country as well as our veterans, Jeep put together this campaign: Jeep | Support Our Nation’s Heroes accompanied by this heart felt video.

Do you have a Jeep? If so I’d love to hear what you love most about it.

This post was sponsored by Jeep; however, our thoughts and opinions are entirely our own.

I have a jeep and love it! I used to have a Wrangler and loved taking the top off and even the doors. Loved taking my jeep off road for camping adventures in the middle of nowhere.
