In case you missed it, yesterday I reviewed my new favorite lens – the Lensbaby Composer Pro. If you want a full review of the lens be sure to check out the Falling in Love With Lensbaby – How I Shoot post. A few months ago I also published a Lensbaby photo essay of a cruise down the Bosphorous in Istanbul but today I’m releasing another set of Lensbaby images taken throughout Europe.

I am in love with this lens because of the other world & vintage feel that it gives to my photos. Shooting with the Lensbaby makes photography fun again. It’s the perfect way to be creative and showcase well known places in a new light. It allows me to forget about the daily grind of being a photographer and let’s me just shoot.

It encompasses everything I love about photography -it takes the teeny tiny moments in time that can never been repeated and turns them into an entire love affair that plays over and over again in your mind. It takes the ordinary and gives it purpose. It takes the dreary and makes it alluring. It takes the blink of an eye and makes it timeless.

In other words:

Nothing is insignificant with the Lensbaby. It turns everything into a memory.

For that reason alone it has become one of my favorite lenses and a constant companion in my camera bag. Be sure to check out the Lensbaby website to learn more about this unique lens.

I recently took some photos throughout Europe with the Lensbaby and these are some that I am in love with. In fact numbers 1, 2, 9 & 20 are some of my favorite images ever!

I hope you like them too and if you have a favorite please let me know in the comments.

I’m no photographer but I agree – it does add quite a bit of fun back into photography! And what a way to remember your travels. These are pretty special photos of Europe! I especially love the picture of the gondolier in Venice. Thanks for sharing – I’m going to pass this post along to a couple of photo hounds I know 🙂
