It’s Time For Another Great Giveaway At Beers & Beans!

This time we’ve teamed up with On The Beach to bring you an easy and well rewarded competition.

Do you love summer holidays in the Balearics? Have you been to the Balearics? Do you even know where the Balearics are? The Balearics are a series of four islands (Majorca, Ibiza, Formentera & Menorca) off the coast of Spain. Popular spots for vacationers from Europe & abroad they are well known for their warm sun, fantastic beaches, nightlife and stunning views. Many of you reading this have probably been to one of the islands and know first hand why they are such great holiday islands. But even if you haven’t been there – no need to fret! Anyone can enter this competition.

To enter, all you need to do is tell us about your perfect 24 hours in the Balearics.

That’s right, simply tell us why you would like to visit one (or all of the islands) and what you would do in 24 hours and you will be in the running to win! You can check out the maps on this page for a little bit of inspiration. Now I did say that the prize was a good one and I wasn’t lying.

The prize for this contest is 500 GPB worth of Amazon vouchers.

(That’s about $780 worth of Amazon Vouchers in USD! Wowsers!) So it’s pretty simple – tell us about your perfect 24 hours on a Spanish Island and get entered to win £500 worth of Amazon vouchers.

How To Enter:

It’s easy! If you want to take part in this fantastic promotion, simply write an article describing what you would do if you had 24 hours in the Balearics and post it on your own blog. At the bottom (or top) of your article please include the brief paragraph below so that others know you have entered the contest:

“This is my version of a perfect 24 hours on a Spanish Island. This post was written as an entry for 24 hours on The Balearics contest sponsored by OnTheBeach.co.uk. The prize is £500 in Amazon Vouchers and the contest runs until August 31, 2012. Please visit BeersandBeans.com to learn more about the contest and how you can also enter.”

Lastly, to be entered in the contest please find us on Twitter and tweet us a link to your entry using the hashtag #OnTheBeach24.

  Good Luck!

Tweet #OnTheBeach24

It’s very important that you send out the tweet because that is how we will know that you have entered the contest and it is a requirement to become eligible.

The winner will be picked by us, so be sure to make yours fun, interesting, and original! We will list the entries at the bottom of this post so if you do not see yours listed please be sure to contact us so we can be sure to count it.

Some Holiday Ideas:

So if you’d go to Ibiza, would you visit one of its lovely beaches, or would you rather head off to Space, Amnesia, or Privilege for a big night out? However, if you think there’s more to Ibiza than its beaches and clubs, you could write about your potential visit to the stunning Can Marça Caves or search for the enigmatic Lost World of Atlantis.

Perhaps you’d rather go to Majorca, and sample one of its many sandy beaches. Majorca is also renowned for its fantastic nightlife and breathtaking shows (the Pirates Adventure Show is still the best though!). If you’re a food-lover, maybe you’d head to Palma and sample one of its many Tapas restaurants!

Last but by no means least, there’s Menorca. Known as the jewel of the Balearics, maybe you’d explore this fabulous island on horseback or in a kayak from the sea. But for those who prefer a more relaxing holiday, maybe you’d watch the sunset at the Cora d’en Xoria bar at Cala’n Porter. This is a spectacular bar set within a natural cave 25 meters above the sea level, and provides spectacular views across the sea.

Whatever you would do with your 24 hours in the Balearics, write about it and share it with us. We can’t wait to read your entries and reward one of our readers with a fabulous prize of £500 in Amazon Vouchers! Current Entries:
