When you visit Las Vegas during the summertime, you may be surprised to find that there are bargain deals everywhere you look. Las Vegas is the ultimate tourist destination for someone who is on a budget and wants to save his or her pennies for the slot machines. Visiting Las Vegas gives a person the opportunity to indulge in Las Vegas events, buffets and music shows at little to no cost. Here are some bargain tips to remember when you head out to Las Vegas with your friends in the summertime:

Free Buffets

There are a variety of places to find free buffets or buffets that cost almost nothing. If you are with friends and want to save some cash, you can go over to Gold Coast. Gold Coast sells hotdogs for less than $1, and the food is quite tasty. If you are looking for a cheap dinner place, then you can go to Mr. Lucky’s and enjoy the steak special. It is not on the menu, but the wait staff will bring it to you upon request.

Another way to land free buffet meals is to sign up for the email list of a casino. Casinos are always looking for new ways to bring people in to try their luck at the slot machines and blackjack tables. They will often provide people with a free buffet meal for simply signing up for a comp account or email list.

Free Drinks

Free drinks are everywhere in Las Vegas. When you are playing the slots, it is not uncommon for wait staff to bring a round of drinks for people sitting at a poker table or at the slot machines. You can also go to the opening of new nightclubs in the area and enjoy free drinks. Ladies, of course, will usually enjoy free drinks at high-powered hotel chains like the Mirage or Caesar’s Palace. It is customary for women to get free drinks at places like Senor Frog’s.

Free Hotel Upgrades

People should always inquire about free hotel upgrades when they arrive at their hotels. They can do this by subtly slipping a $20 bill to the clerk behind the desk. He or she will usually bump a person up to a better hotel room with this trick. If the person is unable to find an upgrade, then he or she will return the $20 bill.

These are some of the easiest ways that one can save over $100 a day in Las Vegas. Save some cash so that you can spend a few extra hours at the slot machines!
