Balloon Ride Over Cappadocia with Royal Balloon (@RoyalBalloon).
[google1]
Several days ago we had the opportunity to fly over Cappadocia in a hot air balloon as guests with Royal Balloon. To put it simply: we were blown away (pun fully intended).
Going into the flight we knew the balloon ride itself was going to be amazing, but what we didn’t expect was the level of service–full breakfast, professional in every aspect, and Suat (our phenomenal pilot)–we as well as every passenger received. After flying with Royal Balloon, it’s easy to see why Martha Stewart chose to fly with them.
While we are working on an in-depth story about our balloon ride, we thought we would give you a little taste of our experience through a short video I made using the 8mm app on the iPod Touch. The video was also mostly edited on the iPod using the iMovie app. After I finished the mobile edits, I transferred it to iMovie on the Mac so that I could add the title screens (you can add titles in the iMovie app, but they are an overlay instead of a separate clip.)
Have you ever taken a balloon ride? If so, where did you fly over?

Lucky!! I tried to go in Cappadocia a few weeks ago but the weather was not conducive to a flight [we only took off, landed after 10 minutes]!

Oh man – that is such a bummer! Hopefully next time you can go again. 🙂 @jenjenk,

Ooh! I wish I had a better phone than the first iPhone. It kills me when my Instagrams aren’t as clear as I would like them to be… and no video.
LOVE IT.

Aweseome! So glad you got to experience that. It’s one of the highlights from our time in the Middle East. Love Valley is quite comical 😉

I have done the same, over the fairy chimneys of Cappadocia – so, so amazing!
