The River Arno in Florence, Italy – Somewhere In Time.
Somewhere in Time is a weekly photo from around the world. Enjoy! This is the beautiful city of Florence, Italy. The River Arno runs through the city and is the second most important river that runs through central Italy. I was only able to spend a few hours in Florence but completely fell in love with the city. It is a beautiful mix of old buildings and new styles. Located in the center of Tuscany, there is no shortage of excellent wine & food as well. If you head to Italy, this city should be a must see on your list. Subscribe to our feed & share the love!

Wow! What an amazing photo!
I’m with V!VA Travel Guides. I’ve been following your posts about Italy –it is one of the countries I’m planning to visit during my trip to Europe next Spring.
I wanted to let you know that we just came out with a new travel app for iPod and iPhone that we are excited about. It allows international travelers access to our up-to-date Ecuador guidebook, as well as videos, photos, breaking news updates with instant blog, Facebook and Twitter notifications. It also offers the option to purchase additional international guidebooks. So if you know anyone interested in traveling through South America, or if you yourself decide to go someday…
We’re offering the app for free until October 29, and we would love for you to try it out. We are working to get the word out so if you have time to write a review on iTunes, or if you’d like to write a blog post about it, that would really help us out. PC Mag just did an article about our new app. You can read all about it here: http://bit.ly/cTt6h8.
You can download the free app here: http://bit.ly/dfFVl0. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
Thanks so much for being part of our travel community and for putting out such a great blog. We are excited to hear what you think about our new product. If you make it to Ecuador, drop us a line.
Sincerely,
Cathleen Carris
