rom Florence to the Val d’Orica (and all points in between for that matter), Tuscany has a lot going for it. Over the past few years, we have been able to explore this region in Central Italy more than any other in Europe. In April, we had a chance to live like a local with G Adventures (#GLocalLiving) at the incomparable Agriturismo La Pietriccia near Chianciano Terme. For a few days, we submerged ourselves into everything that makes Tuscany famous.
Riccardo’s enthusiasm for viticulture is certainly not rare, especially in this region; however, his personal connection to the land’s culture and willingness to open up about his life’s work was a like being in the audience for a VH1 Storytellers session with wine taking the place of music.Notes From A Small Tuscan Wine Cellar
We’ve got some really fantastic stories and photos that we’ll be posting in the coming months, so check back for an in depth look into another side of Italian paradise.
